Terms and Conditions – Race to Safety 2024

 

The following terms and conditions have been written to ensure that Hestia can support its fundraisers, whilst raising to support people in crisis. If you have any questions about the terms, please do contact us at [email protected]

 

• The event organisers are Runable, who will be responsible of the delivery of the logistical element of the whole event. Hestia is the beneficiary Charity. 

• To secure my teams’ place in the event, I agree to pay a registration fee of £110 for teams of two people and £165 for teams of three, as outlined upon event registration. This is in addition to the minimum target for fundraising (not including gift aid), which is £1900 for teams of two people and £2,850 for teams of three.

• I understand that the registration fee is non-refundable, including if the event is cancelled due to a reasonably unforeseen reason, outside the control of the event organisers.

• I agree that the total amount fundraised by my team will be donated to Hestia within 8 weeks of the event taking place.

• I understand that I must be at least 18 years old on the date of the Race to Safety event.

• I agree to inform Hestia if a team member is unable to take part and to get all registration and medical forms completed for any replacement team member ahead of the event day. I understand that there needs to be a minimum of two team members taking part.

• I am medically fit to participate and will make any pre-existing medical conditions known to the organisers Runable, seek doctors’ approval to take part in the event if requested.

• I understand that I register for this event at my own risk and that the organisers, shall not be held responsible for any injury or illness that may be caused to myself as a result of the event or for any property lost during the event.

• I understand that if I’m entering this event on behalf of another person, I am authorised by them to accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf.

• I agree that any images and video taken of me and my team on the day of the event may be used by Hestia in future promotional material including our websites and reports, unless stated otherwise.
